House Parent - Bexhill




Location: Bexhill

Salary: £23,000 - £26,000 + accommodation (if live-in)

Contract Type: Permanent | Full-Time (Evenings & Weekends)




Morgan Hunt is recruiting for a House Parent to support the wellbeing of residential students at a college in Bexhill. The ideal candidate will have a nurturing presence and the ability to manage young people in a pastoral setting.




Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide pastoral care and safeguarding support
  • Oversee student routines, behaviour and curfews
  • Handle basic health, welfare and accommodation issues
  • Foster a safe and respectful boarding environment

Essential:

  • Experience in residential or youth work
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • Calm and supportive demeanour
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts (nights/weekends)
