Job Title: Communications and PR Manager
Location: Southgate, North London (with travel across College sites)
Contract: Permanent, full-time | 36 hours per week
Salary: PO4 Scale

Morgan Hunt is proud to be working in partnership with Barnet and Southgate College, a leading Further Education and Training provider in North London, to recruit an experienced Communications and PR Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented communications professional to drive the College's internal and external communications strategy, enhance its public profile and protect its reputation.

The role:
As Communications and PR Manager, you will work closely with the Director of Marketing and Student Recruitment to:

• Develop and implement integrated internal and external communications strategies
• Create compelling content across a range of channels- newsletters, press releases, web content, social media and more
• Act as the primary media contact and manage press relationships
• Support internal engagement and change management initiatives
• Lead crisis communications planning and execution

What we're looking for in a Communications and PR Manager:

• Strong experience in communications, PR or journalism, ideally with public or education and training sector experience
• Proven ability to manage multi-channel communications and media relations
• Excellent communication skills
• A strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach
• Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
