Morgan Hunt is proud to be partnering with a college in the Essex area to recruit an experienced and passionate Lecturer in Accounting to join their vibrant Business, Finance and Management department. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by delivering high-quality teaching and learning across a range of Accounting, Finance, and Business subjects from Levels 2 to 4.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver effective and inspiring teaching, learning, and assessment across Accounting, Finance, and Business courses
- Support and mentor learners, promoting academic achievement, retention, and progression
- Contribute to curriculum design, development, and quality improvement initiatives
- Undertake all duties associated with a Band 2 Lecturer role, including planning, internal verification, student tracking, and departmental meetings
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment to meet diverse learner needs
About You:
You will be an enthusiastic professional with a strong background in Accounting or Finance and a commitment to high-quality education. The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant degree or professional Accounting qualification (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
- A teaching qualification or the willingness to work towards one
- Experience teaching Accounting or related Business subjects, ideally within Further Education
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- A learner-centred approach and a commitment to supporting student success
