Job Title: Project Worker - Homeless Charities (Lambeth)

Location: Lambeth, London

Pay: £14.50 + holiday pay (£16.25 PAYE) or £18 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: Temporary

DBS Requirement: Enhanced DBS (Adult & Child Workforce) on the Update Service

Morgan Hunt is currently working with a number of well-respected homeless charities in Haringey who are looking for experienced Project Workers to support vulnerable individuals on a temporary basis.

If you have experience in homelessness services and are passionate about helping those in need, we want to hear from you.




Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support to individuals experiencing homelessness
• Complete assessments and contribute to personalised support plans
• Record and update client notes and handovers accurately using basic IT systems
• Assist with care plans in collaboration with key workers and support staff
• Accompany clients to appointments as needed
• Ensure hostels are maintained to health and safety standards (light cleaning may be required)
• Manage a caseload effectively, maintaining proactive client engagement

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within homelessness, housing, or social care
• Experience managing a caseload
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Empathetic, compassionate, and client-focused
• Confident working with individuals with dual diagnosis
• Comfortable around pets (some clients may have dogs)
• Proficient with basic IT for daily documentation
