The Deputy Head of Electrical Services will be responsible for:

• Guiding learners with your technical expertise and passion for the trade
• Support the operational delivery of our Electrical programmes, helping manage staff and resources to ensure excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment
• As part of the area's management team, you'll contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement, collaborating with colleagues to strengthen the department's impact across the College
• This post has a teaching commitment - Hours to be confirmed

The Deputy Head of Electrical Services will need to have:

• Proven experience in successfully leading teams or managing staff within an educational or professional setting
• A strong background in training or teaching, with a proactive approach to curriculum development, course promotion, and marketing
• Solid hands-on trade experience within the electrical or related industries
• Qualified electrician to level 3 or above in Electrical Installation/maintenance, including an AM2 assessment and NVQ
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics - GCSE grade 4+ or equivalent
• Level 5 Teaching Qualification / open to completing within 3 years of employment or 3 years of the first available course
• Assessor/Verifier Awards or a willingness to achieve within six months of starting the position
