Compliance Officer - Edinburgh (Temporary)

Location: Edinburgh

Duration: Temporary (2 months anticipated)


I am working with our Housing Association client in Edinburgh to recruit an experienced temporary Asset Compliance and Contracts Officer to lead on property compliance and manage service contracts across their housing portfolio. You'll ensure safety standards are met in areas like gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos, and water hygiene.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee statutory compliance programmes
• Manage contractor performance and procurement
• Maintain accurate compliance records and reporting
• Act as deputy responsible person for key safety areas

Candidate Profile:

• Experience in property compliance (preferably in social housing)
• Strong data and contract management skills
• Knowledge of relevant safety legislation
• Great organisation and communication skills
