Job Title: Maths Lecturer

Contract Type: Temporary, Part-time and Full-Time opportunities available

Hourly Rate: Up to £45 per hour


About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and inspiring Maths Lecturer to join our academic team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective mathematics instruction to students, supporting them in achieving their academic and personal goals.


Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality maths lessons in line with curriculum requirements
• Assess, track, and report on student progress
• Provide academic support and guidance to students
• Contribute to the development of teaching materials and resources
• Participate in team meetings, quality assurance, and staff development activities

Requirements:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related subject
• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
• Experience teaching mathematics at [further/higher] education level
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and support diverse learners

Desirable:

• Experience working in FE/HE sector
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and blended learning approaches
• Experience with curriculum development and lesson planning
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet a range of learner needs
