Supported Internships Job Coach

• Morgan Hunt are working with a market leading Welfare to Work provider who are recruiting for SEN Job Coaches across London. These roles will involve supporting SEN learners within the workplace currently on a Supported Internship programme. These are full time permanent roles. The salary for these roles are paying between £24,520 - £30,093. The client is looking for Job Coaches in Hackney, Ilford and Wandsworth.

The SEN Job Coach will be responsible for:

• Identifying suitable work opportunities for learners
• Supporting SEN learners in the workplace whilst in their work experience placements
• Having a clear understanding of the learners difficulties and addressing these
• Collaborating with the Tutor and Employer Engagement Officer to ensure suitable placements are sourced
• Ensuring the learner is on track with their course progress

The SEN Job Coach will need to have:

• Experience of working with SEN learners either in the classroom or the workplace
• Worked with learners aged 16-18
• Experience in working on employability programmes
• The confidence in order to progress in the role to eventually engage with employers
• The ability to travel across various sites
