Job Title: English Lecturer - Further Education
Location: East London
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time (Temporary/Permanent opportunities available)

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable college in East London seeking an experienced and passionate English Lecturer to join their team for the upcoming academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to students

• Support learners in achieving their qualifications in GCSE English and Functional Skills

• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback

• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance

• Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)

• Degree in English or a related subject

• Experience teaching English in a further education setting

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• A valid enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
