Pay Rate: £125.00 per day (inclusive of holiday pay at 12.07%)
Contract Type: Flexible / On-Call Basis

We're currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a thriving secondary school in the London Borough of Hounslow. This is a flexible role ideal for someone who can step in at short notice to support the school on a weekly rota.

Role Overview

As an HLTA, you'll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning during staff absences. Responsibilities include:

• Delivering pre-set lessons and activities
• Managing groups of up to 25 students (ages 11-18)
• Encouraging student engagement and using initiative to support learning
• Promoting positive behaviour and a focused classroom environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Experience working with young people, ideally in education, youth work, sports coaching, or public speaking
• Previous HLTA or Cover Supervisor experience is helpful but not essential
• Subject expertise is a bonus, but not required
