Salary: £31,930 - £36,878 per annum (Dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours: 37 hours per week | 52 weeks per year

We're looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Lecturer to join our Care, Childcare, and Counselling Department for a college in the Bedford area. What You'll Do

As a Lecturer, you'll play a vital role in supporting student success through:

• Planning, delivering, assessing, and verifying teaching across Early Years and/or Primary Education subjects.
• Providing expert guidance and pastoral support to help students achieve their goals.
• Creating inclusive, engaging, and high-quality learning experiences.
• Actively contributing to curriculum development and the Centre's continuous improvement.
• Supporting promotional and outreach activities to enhance programme visibility and student recruitment.

What We're Looking For

We welcome applications from experienced educators and sector professionals ready to transition into teaching. You will need:

• A Level 4 qualification or higher in Early Years or Primary Education-related studies.
• Industry experience within the Early Years or Primary Education sector.
• A Certificate in Education (or a willingness to work towards one).
• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade A-C (or equivalent) - or a willingness to achieve Level 2 within one year.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine commitment to inclusion, diversity, and student achievement.
