
ER Manager
ER Manager - Not for Profit sector - Birmingham with hybrid working - up to £55,000
This is an exciting opportunity for an ER Manager to join a leading Housing & Support Services organisation based in Birmingham.
Reporting into the Head of People Operations you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of employee relations. Your key accountabilities will include:-
- Leading the ER Advisory team in managing complex ER cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, and redundancies
- Providing expert guidance to senior managers on complex or high risk ER matters
- Developing, reviewing and updating ER related policies and processes
- Overseeing and responding to trade union recognition attempts
- Leading, mentoring and developing the ER team
- Using data driven insights to develop policies.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders to drive employee engagement
You should be an experienced ER Manager or an HR Generalist with a strong employee relations skill set with a track record of working in a fast paced multi-site environment ideally within the housing, social care or not for profit sectors. Experience of managing complex ER issues including Tupe and redundancies needs to be combined with an ability to develop policies and processes. A data driven approach and experience of coaching and upskilling colleagues is essential.
