Salary: £32,000 - £40,113 per annum

The Role:

A well-established education provider in South Croydon is seeking a dedicated and passionate English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching across a range of English programmes. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and an excellent working environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in English Language and/or Literature, supporting learners of varying abilities to achieve their academic goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver inspiring and effective lessons in English
• Plan, prepare and assess course content in line with curriculum requirements
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Support student development both academically and personally
• Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and quality assurance processes

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in English or a closely related subject
• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent), or willingness to work towards one
• Experience teaching English within further or higher education
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills
• Commitment to inclusive, student-focused teaching
