
Administrative Coordinator
Are you an experienced administrative coordinator from a membership body, regulatory organisation, or mental health/healthcare background? Our client, a respected professional membership body, is seeking an Administrative Coordinator to join their Professional Standards team on a full-time temporary contract until mid-October 2025 paying £22.24 per hour (umbrella), 2 days a week in the office based in the city of London and 3 days working from home.
About the role
As an administrative coordinator, you will manage the approvals process for consultant and non-consultant job descriptions across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Acting as the main point of contact for enquiries, the Administrative Coordinator will coordinate with regional representatives, track approvals, maintain accurate records, and prepare official correspondence and progress reports.
Key responsibilities include:
Administering and tracking the job description approvals process as the designated administrative coordinator
Responding to email, telephone, and written enquiries professionally and promptly
Allocating draft job descriptions to the correct reviewers
Preparing assessments, reports, and correspondence for stakeholders
Maintaining accurate records and archives (both electronic and manual)
Supporting the induction of regional advisors and representatives
About you - must have:
Proven experience working as an administrative coordinator or in a similar role within a membership body, regulatory organisation, or mental health/healthcare setting
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
Proficiency in MS Office and database management
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
A professional, customer-focused approach
- Experience in approvals, compliance, or governance processes is highly desirable.
