Providing person-centred enhanced housing management to individuals with severe and enduring mental health needs, you will help individuals sustain their own tenancies and increase their level of independence and choice.
Helping maximise tenant\'s independence, you will provide transitional enhanced housing management, including assistance to move-on to independent accommodation.
This role will suit someone with experience in floating support and is able to manage a caseload. While this role is not floating support, you will be required to carry out visits, complete Customer Risk Needs assessments and manage your own diary and caseload.
As EHM, this role focuses primarily on Health & Safety and you will need to carry out monthly flat checks and building inspections.
Providing specialist enhanced housing services to people who are socially excluded, disabled, unwell or experiencing homeless, this role is an incredible opportunity for someone with experience in housing and/or mental health.
The hours are Monday to Friday 9-5 and is a temporary position with the possibility of a permanent post.

Providing high quality housing and integration support service to individuals that have been recently granted refugee status and who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Based in Harlesdon, you will work within the Brent area and neighbouring boroughs.
Supporting a caseload of newly recognised refugees, this role will include outreach work, client assessments and integration planning.
This is a senior position so you should have experience with managing a busy client caseload and good knowledge of housing, homelessness and welfare legislation.

The hostel is a transitional space where a 24 hour staff team support people to move in, assess their needs, and quickly identify the best place for them to move on to next. Skilled staff teams develop a personalised support plan to ensure people are ready for their move on and have holistic support with their mental and physical health, substance misuse needs, criminal justice issues and life skills. Your responsibilities also include engaging with individuals leading a \'street-based lifestyle,\' including those sleeping rough, with the objective of connecting them with the appropriate services and facilitating their transition into more stable living conditions. You\'ll work to increase service user choice, involvement, and empowerment, promoting sustainable change while coordinating efforts to achieve positive outcomes for each client. Additionally, you\'ll focus on building and strengthening service users\' personal strengths and social networks, both in the UK and their country of origin.
This role demands flexibility and a proactive approach to engage with hard-to-reach service users and provide a range of effective interventions. Key activities include identifying and establishing contact with service users sleeping rough, including those initially unwilling to engage with services. You\'ll collaborate with drug and alcohol teams to facilitate access to treatment, work with Mental Health Agencies to address mental health issues and ensure ongoing healthcare access for service users. Moreover, you\'ll support efforts to divert newcomers to rough sleeping, encourage people to return to their home communities, and cooperate with local Housing Providers to maximise accommodation opportunities.
