The Role

Finance Assistant

Morgan Hunt is delighted to be exclusively working with The Religious Sisters of Charity who are looking at recruiting a Finance Assistant. This is a 3-month temp to perm contract role paying up to £24 p/hour. The role will be fully based at St. Joseph\'s Convent (Hackney, East London)

Key Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant:

• Update financial spreadsheets with daily transactions, process invoices, and follow up with clients, suppliers, and partners as needed.
• Perform monthly income and expenditure reconciliations, control accounts reconciliation, and bank reconciliations using Sage software and Excel.
• Reconcile accounts to the trial balance stage and handle monthly payroll timesheet reconciliations.
• Provide financial reporting on Sage, produce monthly reports for the Trustees, and offer administrative support during budget preparation and forecast.
• Liaise with banks, investment consultants, suppliers, utility companies, and insurers on behalf of the communities.
