To work with the ALS Manager, LSP& EHCP Coordinator, Lead LSPs and SENCO in advising teaching staff on appropriate strategies for working with students with learning difficulties and disabilities and complex needs.
To liaise with the Student Learning Mentors to provide a collaborative approach for at risk SEND learners and to encourage such students to attend the College.
To use learning support systems to ensure bespoke support is provided for individual supported learners.ie uploading notes to google classroom, contributing to SEND shared point etc
To consider the students specific needs in accordance to their EHC or Support Plan and reinforce learning to enable students to access the lesson and its content through appropriate clarification, explanations, visual aids, equipment and adapted resources..
