Role
Your title can vary depending on the stage of the career you are at as our client are open to experienced Seniors, Principals, Associates, Associate Directors and so on, however the important part is that you will be solely responsible for the electrical function of the business, leading the electrical design, mentoring junior staff, carrying out fee proposals, representing the company and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.

This is a senior role in the organisation that has the overarching day-to-day and long-term strategic responsibility for the safety, security and management of the built environment. Building and developing a team to deliver will be a critical success factor to support them to deliver the following duties and responsibilities:
ï‚· Development of the Trusts estate strategy aligned to the clinical and corporate strategies
ï‚· Capital project planning for redevelopment, backlog and estate investment
ï‚· Capital project delivery including major projects
ï‚· Organisation\'s estates infrastructure and master planning
ï‚· Estates management (Mechanical, electrical & building maintenance, minor new works, energy & utilities, decarbonisation, fire safety, property, land & leases, grounds & gardens, administration and help desk)
ï‚· Facilities management (all hotel services including patient meal service/catering, residences/accommodation, security/LSMS, access control/ID badges, portering, car parking, non-patient transport/logistics, domestic services/cleaning, waste, graphics and materials management)
ï‚· Commercial services (all leases, bed provision, security, laundry and retail provision)
ï‚· Statutory compliance, assurance, risk management and governance for the built environment
ï‚· Workforce management
ï‚· Professional lead for estates and facilities staff and services
ï‚· Professional lead for Health and Safety and Fire compliance
ï‚· Information and reporting for estates and facilities functions including maintaining and developing the Trusts CAFM system, PAM and ERIC
