Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in London, are looking for a Homeless Assessment and Resettlement Worker to work in a busy homeless assessment hub in west London. The service aims to assess and resettle clients experiencing homelessness with varied levels of support required, from the very complex with multiple needs, to those who have recently become homeless with a lower-level of support needed to progress them into an independent tenancy. Clients engaged at the service are referred by local authority homeless person units, street outreach teams and StreetLink.

About the Service
Age UK Bromley & Greenwich\'s Information and Advice Services is one of the most important services the organisation provides, enabling and supporting older people in both boroughs to live healthy and independent lives.
The service provides a helpline 9am to 5pm 5 days a week providing information advice and guidance to older people, their families, their carers, adult carers and people with long term health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities in this role include:
Managing and maintaining a caseload of clients
Ensuring the effective delivery of the service so that is meets targets and funder requirements
Ensuring compliance with requirements of relevant quality standard (AQS and IAQP)
Managing network/liaison with other local key stakeholders and organisations
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone with experience managing a quality assured Information and Advice service, including internal case reviews and Independent File Reviews.
You will have experiencing supervising and/or supporting staff to give quality advice or information to clients.
You will also have experience Partnership working.
Ideally you will have experience working with people who are very vulnerable.
This role is office-based within both Bromley and Greenwich. The role is Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm and the salary is dependent on experience.

Homeless Advice and Support Worker
Our client, a leading homelessness charity based in east London are looking for an Advice and Support Worker to work in a busy homeless day centre. Due to a company restructure a position has become available to work in a team of Assessment and Advice Workers in the assessment and signposting of clients experiencing homeless clients with high support needs to relevant support services in the borough.
Candidates for this role will need:
- Extensive housing knowledge and knowledge of the entitlement homeless clients have under different housing laws/ acts
- Experience of working with the homeless
- Experience of working in a homeless assessment capacity
- Resettlement experience and knowledge of housing options
DBS within 12 months of issue or on the online update service
Candidate duties:
- Offering advice and guidance on housing and resettlement related issues to clients accessing the service
- Overseeing casework delivery to clients
- Presenting clients with housing options
- Assisting clients to obtain their welfare, housing and related rights
- Referring clients on to relevant specialist support agencies for their needs
- Accurate recording of data into CHAIN
- Liaising with external agencies on behalf of clients
