Morgan Hunt is working with a Housing Association in the Northwest to recruit an Asset Manager on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role, working 35 hours per week. In the past, our client has relied heavily on external consultants to provide asset management expertise, and this role will be a brilliant opportunity for the right person to share this new, in-house specialist role.
As the Asset Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Director and lead on the delivery of the strategic priorities and plans for the association\'s asset management services. You will have extensive experience in leading and coordinating asset management projects and working knowledge of stock condition surveys.
You will be the expert on retrofit and energy efficiency, keeping abreast of changes in legislation and innovation within the sector, ensuring this is fed through to all plans and projects. You will lead on the tendering and procurement of services related to asset management, such as digital switchover and future proofing.

I am recruiting for a Supported Learning Lecturer to join a college based in Huntingdon, working 29.6 hours per week on a fixed term basis until July 2025; In return you will receive a competitive salary of between £21,940 - £32,295 actual salary per annum equivalent to full time salary £27,425 - £40,369 depending on qualifications and experience.
The successful applicant will be working across the department. The Lecturer will teach students with Severe Learning Difficulties, developing skills to prepare them for adulthood and developing their employability and skills across all levels.
The successful candidate will need to have a positive outlook and a can-do approach as well as being able to adapt and be flexible at short notice. Also, the candidate should have a strong sense of teamwork, good problem-solving skills and be helpful and understanding towards the students and colleagues.
For this role the applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of working in SEN and/or a SEN qualification and hold a L5 Teaching Qualification or be willing to work towards this. The role is to lead on the teaching, learning and assessment of our students with severe, moderate and specific learning needs delivering lessons in small group settings. All students follow a core timetable with some personalised elements.
The successful candidate will lead on one or two programmes and whilst being responsible for overseeing the work of instructors delivering their programmes to ensure that each student has the best chance of inclusive learning and makes progress against their EHCP targets.
We are particularly interested in staff who can offer specialisms in the creative industries, drama, media and English. Preference will be given to applicants that are familiar with using Apple Mac computers and the suite of programmes that support media and music making, such as, Photoshop and ProLogic and that are confident in teaching English from Entry 3 to GCSE.
Qualifications: PGCE or DTLLS, DET plus Level 2 in English and maths. Skills in Makaton and qualifications in ASD are desirable.
