Morgan Hunt are currently working exclusively with a Children's Charity in their search for a Child Protection Lawyer on a 12-month maternity cover basis.
The role is the lead legal advisor on child protection issues for the organisation, taking sole responsibility for providing legal advice, training, and updates on all aspects of child protection law including the law relation to children, crime, human rights, confidentiality, and disclosure.
The successful post-holder will be a Qualified Lawyer in England and Wales, who has specialised in Child Protection Law. You will have generalist experience within Children Law and have experience dealing with external parties such as social workers and third-party lawyers. You will have experience advising trustees and external parties of Child Protection Law matters.
It is an exciting time to join a huge Children's Charity, to which you will be provided with strong development opportunities and experience. You will be entitled to additional employment benefits such as 29 days annual leave plus bank holidays (fixed-term only).
The successful post-holder will be expected to attend the London Office at least once a week. The charity will consider part-time for the right candidate.
Job Title: Child Protection Lawyer
Location: Hybrid (London Office at least 1 day a month)
Annual Salary: £45,000 - £51,000 (plus London Weighting if applicable)
Daily Rate: £200 per day (PAYE)
£280 per day (Umbrella)
Job Type: 12-month Fixed Term
Hours: Full OR Part time
