Head of People Partnering and Services, 18 month FTC - Leading Regulator - Brighton with hybrid working - c£90,000

This is an exciting opportunity for a senior HR leader to develop and shape a new team in the new People Directorate. Reporting into the Director of People and Culture you will be responsible for leading one of the most important parts of their HR transformation ensuring that they deliver and embed an excellent service and partnership approach.

Your key accountabilities will include:-

  • Leading and inspiring the People Services & Partnering function and develop a high performing team
  • Leading and managing the People Partners to develop and embed a strategic business partnering model
  • Using your expert Employee Relations skill set to lead the review and on-going enhancement of the Employee Relations capability
  • Evaluating and improving the employee experience by developing and implementing policies, procedures and practices
  • Working with People Directorate Leaders to review and improve the employee and service value proposition
  • Leading the review of existing HR systems and technology


You should be a senior HR Generalist with an excellent knowledge of the full employee lifecycle and with a track record of working in a complex organisation. Experience of leading an employee relations team and of improving policies and procedures is essential. You will need to have experience of designing and delivering people strategies and have strong stakeholder management skills. You will also be MCIPD qualified.
