Data Migration Engineer - NEC
We are seeking a Data Migration Engineer to join our clients Central Services Programme and Transformation Team on a temporary contract basis until at least late June 2024.
A REMOTE role, 6-month contract with potential to be extended, paying around £400 per day.
You will be assisting with Data Migration from 3 legacy systems to a new NEC Housing Management Systems.
In this role, you will take ownership of assigned areas of system migration, ensuring accurate mapping, configuration, and data quality using MSSQL. As the lead technical resource, you will support data management, build accessible data models, maintain metadata, develop ETL processes, and monitor data services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Owning and delivering high quality data migrations
- Data modelling, mapping, and metadata management
- Developing and maintaining ETL processes
- Providing support for BI and data warehousing
- Testing, issue identification, and risk mitigation
- Collaborating with IT and business teams
Required Skills and Experience:
- Must have experience with Data migration to NEC Housing Management System
- Data migration and ETL experience
- SQL Server and data warehouse knowledge
- Experience with Oracle
- Data modelling and business analysis skills
- Identifying and resolving data issues
- Testing, analysis, and reporting abilities
- Stakeholder engagement and communication
You must be tenacious, proactive, a self-starter, and experienced with problem solving.
This is a great opportunity for a dedicated data migration professional to utilize their technical skills in a temporary role until late June 2024.
