Responsibilities:

As a Data Governance Officer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust data governance frameworks and practices within the business. Key responsibilities include:

* Policy Development: Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
* Data Quality Assurance: Implement measures to monitor and enhance the quality of data, ensuring accuracy and reliability across the organization.
* Training and Awareness: Conduct training sessions and awareness campaigns to promote a data governance culture within the organization, ensuring staff understanding of their role in data protection.
* Risk Management: Identify and assess data-related risks and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
* Data Privacy Compliance: Ensure adherence to data protection regulations, including GDPR, and work closely with the Data Protection Officer to address any compliance issues.

Qualifications and Skills:
* Proven experience in data governance, data management, or a related field.
* Strong understanding of data protection laws and regulations.
