Conduct one-to-one key working sessions with Young residents, focusing on mental health support and goal setting
Support residents with daily activities and carry out site operations, including health and safety checks, room checks and report writing
Assist residents in organizing their time, setting goals, and ensuring they attend appointments
Provide advice, guidance, and practical support to residents in their everyday tasks, such as laundry and self-care
Liaise closely with external agencies and establish strong partnership links to enhance the support provided
Requirements:
Essential: Previous key working experience
Genuine interest in working with young people with complex needs, particularly in the area of mental health
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by young individuals, such as anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, and related issues
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with residents and build trust
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues to provide holistic support
Flexible availability to work a mix of shifts, including one weekend on and one weekend off
Commitment to maintaining high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding
