Morgan Hunt is delighted to be working with a London South East Colleges to recruit for Assistant Principal - High Needs & Foundation Learning.

As an Assistant Principal - High Needs & Foundation Learning, you will hold a crucial position in working towards the ambitious Ofsted objectives for the college. Your focus will be on nurturing the development of High Needs Students and enhancing the provision for SEND, all while adapting to the dynamic educational environment. This role offers a distinctive chance to contribute to a progressive and consistent learning environment, in line with government initiatives and our Digital Transformation Strategy.

Key responsibility of the Assistant Principal - High Needs & Foundation Learning:
* Spearhead educational initiatives for High Need Students and Additional Learner Support college-wide, assisting the Deputy Principal in achieving strategic and operational success in this area.
* Collaborate with senior colleagues to ensure alignment of College policies, procedures, and planning.
* Engage with various organisational services and functions, both internally and externally, regarding High Needs Students.
* Meet recruitment and income targets while maintaining control and f budgetary constraints.
* Ensure efficient allocation of resources and staffing to deliver the College's curriculum offerings effectively.
* Foster growth and development in line with agreed targets and deadlines.
* Lead Curriculum Managers and delivery teams, collaborating closely with other Assistant Principals to provide a consistent and comprehensive management experience across all departments.
* Drive the delivery and enhancement of High Needs Programmes and Additional Learning Support at all levels.
* Conduct effective performance management of staff within the designated area.
* Manage staff resources effectively across all sites within the area.
* Implement the College's quality improvement cycles, taking a leading role in setting, promoting, and maintaining high expectations and standards.

The ideal Assistant Principal - High Needs & Foundation Learning will have:
* A degree or relevant professional qualifications
* Demonstrated management expertise in either an educational environment or a related industrial sector, with a focus on SEND provision.
* Experience in curriculum planning.
* Skilled in budget management.
* Experience in working with Awarding Organisations.
* Understanding of funding streams and methodologies

Salary - £75,000 - £85,000
