Job Title: Games and animation lecturer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teaching a range of subjects within the Games and Animation pipeline which will include; an intermediate knowledge of Autodesk Creation Suite with enthesis on 3D asset creation; concept art creation and development; narrative and game design/theory; collaborative working, research and working to a brief.
• Assisting students in their progression from their course, either to Higher Education or employment
• To have an interest in new and emerging techniques in Computer Animation software and methodologies within the Game Design and Film industry, along with an interest in Esports
• To show a concern and involvement in the historical, cultural and theoretical side of the subject area and be willing to contribute where appropriate to this aspect of course delivery.
• Assist with administration, enrolment, pre-enrolment counselling, and identification of customer requirements.
• Undertake such other duties as may reasonably be required, commensurate with the grade of the appointment.

Skills & experience

• Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS dated within the last 3 months or on the update service
• A UK recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent is essential
• Experience of delivering the subject.
• Evidence of good classroom practice and excellent teaching, including the use of different learning styles.
• Evidence of teaching, which demonstrates good progress and achievement of pupils across the ability range.
• Ability to work as a team member and to form good working relationships with
