Skills & experience

• Higher degree or equivalent professional knowledge in Sports
• Relevant experience of FE teaching and module design that engages and retains students or the proven potential to effectively contribute to this process.
• Qualification for teaching in a Higher Education context
• Must have a sports specialism.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check (for applicants who have never worked in UK) and no question regarding suitability to work with children 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teach sports-related rules and procedures.
• Analyse gait, overall form, agility, and existing techniques.
• Safeguard sports players from avoidable injuries by instilling appropriate techniques.
• Supervise the use of pertinent sporting equipment.
• Conduct safe remedial lessons following incapacity.
• Outline important nutritional requirements if requested.
• Enter sports players in upcoming tournaments.
• Solidify mental agility thru coaching.
• Encourage diligence, adherence to sporting guidelines, and sportsmanship.
• Completion of an applicable Instructor's training programme is advantageous.
• Experience as a credible, hands-on Sports Instructor, preferably for youth.
• A history of commendable sporting achievement.
• Well-honed sports-related diagnostic abilities.
• Brilliant coordination, mentorship, and calculated risk-taking techniques.
• Polished verbal communication abilities.
• A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check (for applicants who have never worked in UK) and no question regarding suitability to work with children
