Salary: £51,328 - £54,225 per annum

Location: Hammersmith, on-site with up to 2-days work-from-home

About the role:

A high-profile role within the IT Services department requiring both strong technical and people management skills with experience of working within an ITIL compliant service desk. The post-holder will also act as 3rd line support and have line management responsibility for a small support team, within a busy, agile environment.

The post-holder will be responsible for ensuring the technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, delivering the highest levels of service availability, performance and security. This includes the implementation, administration, support and continued development of IT services ensuring effective BAU operation of all enterprise IT systems including, but not limited to, servers, applications, cloud services, storage and networks to ensure a highly available and resilient IT infrastructure.
 

About the person:

The ideal candidate will hold relevant qualifications in computing with vendor certifications, and must have at least 5-years of demonstrable experience working within a senior technical role. The postholder will be experienced with the technical administration, development and support of a complex multi-site, multi-domain virtualised Windows environment and network; with the ability to undertake root-cause analysis and deliver robust solutions.

A motivated self-starter with an eye for detail and the ability to multi-task within an agile environment. Together with excellent communication and organisational skills, you are able to lead and manage a technical support team and engage with stakeholders across the business including staff, students and external agencies.
