Assistant Income Manager

Morgan Hunt is working with a Housing Association who are looking at recruiting an Asisstant Income Manager.

The perfect candidate should be able to provide a comprehensive credit control service. To ensure all bank transactions are correctly downloaded from the banking system meeting department deadlines. As well as ensuring income is recorded accurately and reconciled with the bank statement. This is a permanent hybrid role with a salary up to £44,883 and based in London.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Income Manager :

  • Chase and take action on late-paying customers as well as monthly reporting of aged debtors
  • Process all transactions from our bank accounts web page so that they can be loaded onto our Cash Management System
  • Analyse payments received between Local Authority, Invoices and other receipts
  • Obtain Housing Benefit Schedules and payment schedules for payments made by the DWP to match the payments made by the local authorities so that they can be recorded onto the Housing Management system
  • Provide support to the business for raising invoices and ensure all income has been billed
  • Manage the Housing Benefit schedules so that they can be loaded to the Housing system to ensure customer accounts are kept up to date
  • Process Service Now queries and adjustments on our Housing system
  • Analyse Service Now queries and recommend ways to reduce queries

Previous Skills and Experience of the Assistant Income Manager :

  • Previous Managerial Experience
  • Negotiating payment/repayment plans and setting up terms and conditions for debt recovery
  • Monthly reporting of aged debtors including analysis of action plan for outstanding debts
  • Process all transactions from our bank accounts web page so that they can be loaded onto our Cash Management System daily
  • Ensure daily cash receipts from the companies bank accounts match the Receivables Bank Statement/cashbook
  • Obtain Housing Benefit Schedules and payment schedules for payments made by the DWP to match the payments made by the local authorities so that they can be recorded onto the Housing Management system
  • Experience working in an Accounts receivable team with credit control experience
