Duties and responsibilities
Out client are looking for a talented Audit Supervisor to join their growing team. As an Audit Supervisor you will be carrying out a range of duties including but not limited to;

• Providing support to partners/managers by assisting with the management of a portfolio of clients.
• Ensuring client work is passed to managers within agreed timescales.
• Reviewing and mentoring junior staff and delegating work.
• Producing technical statutory accounts for manager/partner review.
• Being responsible for accounting deadlines.
• Communicating the scheduling requirements to managers in order to facilitate preparation of draft management accounts.
• Reviewal of bookkeeping assignments.
• Working under own initiative in order to assume responsibility for planning fieldwork and finalisation of the audit.
• Communicating with internal and external teams as necessary in order to deliver files compliance with international auditing standards within agreed deadlines.
• Reviewing corporation tax returns and associated schedules ensuring they are accurate, tax planning strategies have been utilised and the position is discussed and agreed with the client.

Qualifications and skills required
In order to succeed as an Audit Supervisor you will be ACA/ACCA qualified with at least three years experience in a practice firm where you were involved in preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns and planning and executing audit work.
