Business and Registration Assistant

Morgan Hunt is working with a UK based independent regulator who are looking at adding to there team with a new Business and Registration assistant. This role will be primarily dealing with charity registrations, applications and customer queries. As this role sits within the finance team, the perfect candidate should have experience of using financial systems and some basic accounting skills. This 6-month temporary hybrid role is based in London paying up to £17.24 per hour including holiday pay.

Key Responsibilities of the Business and Registration Assistant:

  • Dealing with new applications that they register within set time frames as well as online registrations and the collection of annual levy's
  • Liaising with all internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
  • To deal with enquiry emails as well as bounce backs to ensure correct contact details are updated accordingly.
  • Dealing with queries regarding invoices e.g. assessing financial accounts to set registration fee levels and invoicing accordingly.
  • Manage the finance team email inboxes ensuring that all emails queries are responded to and/or escalated in a professional and timely way.
  • Dealing with telephone queries and responding to call backs.
  • To support the annual levy collection by issuing invoices, dealing with queries, and assessing fee levels.

Previous Skills and Experience of the Business and Registration Assistant :

  • Experience working within a Finance or Registration Team
  • Experience working for a regulator or in the charity sector
  • IT literate with the ability to confidently use Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Good communication skills and telephone manner.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise, multi-task and ensure attention to detail.
  • Experience liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of using CRM systems, familiarity with Salesforce would be an advantage.
