Morgan Hunt are currently recruiting for a Financial Accounts & Treasury Manager in London on a FTC basis for 12 months (with opportunity to extend) with major Regulatory body. This Financial Accountant & Treasury role is paying in the range of £70,000-72,000.

The Finance and Treasury Manager will be a highly organised individual covering 4 aspects of the business as well as other group entities Responsibilities include managing preparation for year-end audit, treasury cash flow, balance sheet reconciliation reviews and be the VAT go to person.

Main Responsibilities of the Finance and Treasury Manager:

• Manage financial accounts and treasury functions with an emphasis on year-end audits.
• Lead a team of Financial Accountants and oversee indirect line management for related roles.
• Actively contribute to financial procedure development and maintenance.
• Spearhead year-end analysis and reporting adherence to statutory guidelines.
• Develop and deliver financial training courses for staff and stakeholders.
• Manage banking, investment, and treasury operations for the Group.

Person Specification of the Finance and Treasury Manager:

• Recognised CCAB/ ACCA qualification
• Demonstrated ability to lead on year-end audits, preparing statutory accounts and group accounts
• Essential experience in working with multiple departments on numerous complex financial projects
• Demonstrable experience of working with senior management to deliver best outcomes, clear decision-making supported by a robust rationale in line with departmental strategy, and proactive development of systems for continual improvement.
• Proficiency in implementing accounting software.

• £70,000 to £72,00 pro rota
• 35 hours per week
