Morgan Hunt is working with a Membership body who are looking at recruiting a Head of Finance to join there ever growing dynamic team, this role will report directly into the CEO.

With this exciting new role you will deliver strategic financial planning while working closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.

This permanent role is based in central London and paying up to £60,000.

Key Responsibilities of the Head of Finance:

• Leading the finance team to deliver insightful information, enhance decision making and increase the impact of the organisation

• Business Planning - ensuring the organisation has a robust budgeting and planning cycle in line with long term vision and goals

• Leadership - developing and motivating a small - medium sized team

• Financial Control - ensuring strong financial processes and procedures are in place

• Financial Reporting and Audit - ensuring the financial performance and impact of the organisations work is monitored and reported in a timely manner

• Leading on financial projects and continuous improvement to the finance function

Previous Skills and Experience of the Head of Finance:

• Professionally fully qualified accountant

• Driven and proactive approach and strong technical skills gained in the not - for - profit or wider Public Sector

• Strong sense of commercial insight and an analytical mindset.

• Previous years of experience at this level within an organisation

• Proven leader with excellent communication skills, able to build relationships, challenge and influence a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across the organisation.

• Committed to continuous improvement of the finance function to enhance better decision making across the organisation.
