Complaints Review Officer

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in East London is looking to recruit a Complaints Review Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Complaints Review Officer, you will be responsible for independently reviewing and investigating complaints related to homelessness services, ensuring fair and impartial resolution in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Receive, record, and acknowledge complaints related to homelessness services, ensuring compliance with complaint handling procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into complaints, gathering relevant information, interviewing stakeholders, and reviewing documentation to understand the nature and scope of the complaint.
• Utilise your expertise in homelessness services to assess the validity and impact of complaints, considering the unique circumstances and vulnerabilities of individuals experiencing homelessness.
• Identify appropriate resolutions and outcomes for complaints, liaising with relevant departments, teams, and external agencies to address issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
• Communicate with complainants and stakeholders in a sensitive and empathetic manner, providing regular updates on the progress of complaints and facilitating resolution discussions as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of complaint resolution processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to enhance service quality and client satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of complaints, investigations, and outcomes. Prepare reports and analysis on complaint trends, patterns, and service delivery performance to inform organisational learning and continuous improvement..
