Are you a Housing Application Officer looking for work in Southeast London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Southeast London is looking to recruit a Housing Application Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Housing Application Officer, will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to leaseholders, ensuring compliance with lease terms, and managing service charges and major works projects.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Review and process housing applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information. Verify applicant eligibility in accordance with housing policies, regulations, and criteria.
• Utilize the Northgate computer system to manage and update housing application records. Ensure data accuracy, maintain applicant information, and generate reports as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to applicants, responding to inquiries, providing application guidance, and addressing concerns in a timely manner. Assist applicants in understanding the housing application process and eligibility requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams, housing providers, and local authorities to facilitate the housing application process and ensure smooth service delivery. Coordinate with colleagues to address application-related issues and expedite processing.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of housing applications, eligibility determinations, and related documentation. Prepare reports and analysis on application trends, approval rates, and service delivery performance.
• Ensure compliance with housing legislation, data protection laws, and organizational policies throughout the application process. Stay informed about changes in housing regulations and update practices accordingly.
