Are you a Specialist Housing Officer looking for work in West London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in West London is looking to recruit a Specialist Housing Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Specialist Housing Officer, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of properties, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements, and fostering positive relationships with tenants and local communities.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Oversee all aspects of tenancy management, including new tenancy sign-ups, rent collection, tenancy enforcement, and tenancy sustainment support. Monitor tenancy arrears, conduct tenancy audits, and take proactive measures to address breaches of tenancy conditions.
• Manage the maintenance and upkeep of estates, ensuring that communal areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Coordinate repairs and maintenance works, liaising with contractors and overseeing service delivery to meet quality standards.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, resident groups, and local stakeholders. Organize community events, consultations, and initiatives to promote community cohesion and address issues affecting the local area.
• Respond to reports of ASB, conduct investigations, and implement measures to address and resolve issues effectively. Work collaboratively with partners, including local authorities and police, to tackle ASB and improve community safety.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and organizational policies governing tenancy management, estate maintenance, and ASB management. Stay informed about changes in legislation and best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of tenancy and estate management activities, including property inspections, tenancy enforcement actions, and ASB incidents. Prepare reports and analysis on performance indicators, trends, and outcomes.
