Job description
We have a current opportunity for a Fire Contracts Manager on a permanent basis. The position will be to manage compliance contracts such as Fire Equipment & Warden Call Systems ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance across their housing stock.
Main Duties
- Effective management of Fire Equipment & Warden Call systems, managing risk and ensuring effective delivery
- Ensure all works are carried out inline with British Standards
- Monitor all Fire Safety Actions and implement assurance procedures to deliver most effective working solutions
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure contractors and engineers are carrying out works to set regulations and designs
- Work closely with contractors and keep residents updated with various fire safety works
- Involved in procurement of contracts as and when necessary
