Job description
Morgan Hunt have an opportunity for a Housing Manager that will provide sensitive, customer focused housing services that are efficient, gives value for money and which reflect the equality and diversity policies
You will be required to:
- Provide effective management of a team of 13- Senior Housing Officer, Housing Officer, Admin, Estate Services Coordinator over 400 Units
- Initially Office based
- Annually review and implement the Housing Team Plan.
- Manage two Local Housing Centres and head office reception service and the team of staff responsible for the delivery of housing services including:
- Oversee the local housing centres' surveyor response to disrepair claims and mould and dampness.
- Ensure that long-and short-term voids are appropriately managed to ensure the void period is kept to a minimum.
- Work with Business Support & Service Improvement Manager to deliver head office reception service.
Therefore need someone with the following skills/knowledge and experience
- Practical experience of working with Landlord and Tenant Law.
- Experience of managing a Local Housing Centre.
- Experience of managing and motivating staff to deliver excellent customer services, including experience of dealing with performance issues.
- Experience of proving a customer focused service in a challenging environment.
