Job description

Morgan Hunt requires a Senior Project Manager for NHS based in South East London

Pay Rate: £28.99ph to £30.02ph PAYE WTR = Total £32.48ph to £33.64ph

Hours 37.5 9am to 5pm Mon to Fri

Location: South East London

Duration: 6 months on going contract

Special Requirements: Programme Closure Experience

Job Summary

The candidate is responsible for delivering the objectives of the trust priority projects within their themes, although the you may be required to support other programmes as the portfolio of work changes.

In many cases these projects will develop at a fast pace and will be delivered at scale across south London and beyond.

The candidates will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholder organisations to ensure effective management of interdependencies and delivery of objectives. Stakeholders include Care Homes, GP practices, community services, local authorities, South East and South West London Systems, acute trusts, voluntary sector providers and industry.

Current projects include: STATE THE PROJECTS/ specific duties for the theme.

The candidate will work closely with the Head of/Programme Director for trust the Clinical Director and the rest of the team.

Performance management of projects including risk and issue management will be key.

Key deliverables

  • Lead projects or service improvement initiatives as needed by developing proposals for service improvement and pathways across primary, community and acute services in liaison with other projects that are undertaking work in similar clinical or cross cutting themes throughout south London and beyond.
  • Manage the production of project plans that deliver agreed milestones and objectives.
  • Implement projects and report on progress via appropriate governance structures.
  • Provide project management expertise to the individuals in the project team and ensure that the leads have clear responsibilities, priorities, timescales and track delivery. Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external to ensure the projects are implemented effectively and efficiently.
  • Determine and allocate staff and other resources for the project, monitoring work allocation and re-allocating as necessary to ensure successful delivery to time, cost and quality.
  • Engage wider networks at sector, regional and national levels to facilitate dissemination of the project learning and tools.
  • Represent the programme at relevant sector meetings and events.
