Are you a Homelessness Prevention and Relief Officer looking for work in West London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in West London is looking to recruit a Homelessness Prevention and Relief Officer to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Homelessness Prevention and Relief Officer, you will play a crucial role in preventing homelessness by providing support, guidance, and resources to those at risk of losing their homes.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Provide expert advice on available housing options, including social housing, private rentals, and temporary accommodation.
• Conduct thorough assessments of individuals and families facing housing instability or at risk of homelessness.
• Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to stabilise tenancies, prevent evictions, and address underlying issues contributing to housing instability.
• Assist clients in navigating housing applications, accessing financial assistance, and exploring alternative housing arrangements.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with local authorities, housing agencies, community organisations, and support services.
• Develop and implement individualised housing plans for clients, ensuring continuity of care and support throughout the prevention process.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records, documenting progress, interventions, and outcomes.
• Organise and deliver outreach events, workshops, and training sessions to raise awareness about homelessness prevention strategies, housing rights, and available support services.
