Are you a Housing Transformation Manager looking for work in Sutton, South London?

Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Sutton, South London, is looking to recruit a Housing Transformation Manager to provide support throughout a busy period.

This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Housing Transformation Manager, you will lead strategic initiatives to transform housing services, drive innovation, and deliver tangible outcomes in line with organizational goals.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

• Develop and implement housing strategies and commissioning frameworks to address housing needs, promote housing affordability, and deliver housing services that meet the needs of diverse communities.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with internal teams, local authorities, housing associations, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Collaborate with partners to align objectives, share resources, and deliver integrated housing solutions.
• Lead and oversee housing regeneration projects, including redevelopment, refurbishment, and revitalization initiatives. Develop and implement regeneration strategies to enhance housing stock, improve living environments, and support community renewal.
• Facilitate housing development opportunities and partnerships to increase affordable housing supply and meet housing demand. Identify development sites, secure funding, and negotiate agreements with developers and housing providers.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of housing transformation initiatives, assessing progress against strategic objectives, performance indicators, and targets. Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to drive continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of housing policy developments, legislative changes, and best practices. Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management and stakeholders on emerging trends, opportunities, and challenges in housing transformation.
• Manage project budgets, funding streams, and financial resources effectively. Ensure that housing transformation initiatives are delivered within budgetary constraints and achieve value for money.
• Demonstrate proven experience in housing regeneration, enabling and development, and housing strategy and commissioning roles within the housing sector or local government.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of housing policy, legislation, and regulatory frameworks.
• Demonstrate excellent project management, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency in budget management, financial analysis, and performance measurement.
