This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35.

As a Temporary Accommodation Officer, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day allocation and management of temporary accommodation. Your mission will be to provide support and guidance to residents, ensuring compliance with legislative standards, contractual arrangements, and service objectives.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the ability to:

- Allocate diverse temporary units efficiently.
- Minimise inappropriate use of shared spaces.
- Conduct property visits and manage relationships with providers.
- Provide timely management information and reports.
- Collaborate with peer groups for a cohesive service approach.
- Manage the Council's temporary housing portfolio effectively.
- Coordinate timely hand-backs of leased accommodation.
- Work on a casework basis to assist residents in moving on.
- Champion customer service excellence.
- Demonstrate self-sufficiency in administration.
- Participate actively in appraisals and service development.
- Uphold relevant legislation, policies, and regulations.
- Promote diversity and good community relations.

This role requires a valid Enhanced DBS Check.
