Summary

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for a Fire Safety Specialist to join their team.

As a Fire Safety Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining top-notch fire safety standards across the organisation's portfolio. Serving as the go-to person for fire safety expertise, you'll lead key fire safety activities and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with external fire safety partnerships and services, including FRS Primary Authority Partnership, Evacuation Management, and Fire Authorities.
• Provide expert advice and support to both technical and non-technical staff on fire safety matters such as PCFRA, FRA, PEEPS.
• Conduct audit schemes to guarantee adherence to fire safety standards and proper documentation.
• Investigate fire incidents, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide recommendations.
• Engage with residents, offering advice on fire safety in their homes and at resident forums.
• Deliver training to staff and contractors to enhance fire safety awareness.

About you

• Previous experience in Fire and Building Safety within the housing sector or a similar industry.
• Proven track record of working with external service providers, ensuring the delivery of service requirements - FRS, PAP & HSE.
• Experience in maintaining and analysing stock data within an asset database.
• Knowledge and experience in collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to enhance services and performance.
• Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
