Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager
South London

Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to join their team.
You'll be responsible for ensuring the effective management of risks associated with mains electrical systems, lifts, and other relevant equipment and systems across all properties. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining legal compliance, providing expert advice to departments, and overseeing day-to-day contract management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure timely mains electrical installation checks and inspections in accordance with legal requirements.
- Track and report relevant KPIs on contractor and legal performance.
- Manage contractors for routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs related to electrical systems and M&E.
- Oversee smaller systems (door entry, CCTV, etc.) and related contract management.
- Manage consultants and remediation contractors for mains electrical systems, lifts, and M&E.
- Quality Assurance and Documentation:
- Ensure proper documentation for EICR, LOLER, and associated requirements.
- Develop a priority list for properties with persistent access issues.
About you
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical compliance management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Level 4 VRQ in Electrical Safety Management or Level 4 VRQ Diploma in Asset and Building Management (or equivalent).
