Senior Damp & Mould Surveyor
Permanent
£58,000 per annum
London
Summary
Morgan Hunt are working with a leading social housing provider, currently looking for a Senior Damp & Mould Surveyor to join their team.
As the Senior Damp & Mould Surveyor, you will report directly to the Project Manager, playing a pivotal role in upholding our zero-tolerance approach to damp and mould within our homes. You'll assist in managing a team of Specialist Surveyors, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure compliance with our Damp and Mould Framework.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership and support to our specialist surveyor team.
- Offer technical expertise and support to internal and external colleagues.
- Ensure surveys adhere to organisational and best practice standards.
- Monitor team performance and identify training needs.
- Conduct quality control inspections for Damp & Mould interventions.
- Uphold Health & Safety standards and promote safe working practices.
- Collaborate with Asset Management and Sustainability colleagues.
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Extensive understanding of building surveying techniques.
- Proven track record of team leadership and performance achievement.
- RICS or CIOB (or equivalent).
- Evidence of continual professional development.
