Senior Housing Advocate: Driving Positive Change for Women

Are you motivated to tackle the housing challenges faced by women entangled in the criminal justice system? We are actively seeking a dedicated individual to step into the role of Senior Housing Advocate and lead our housing advice services in the vibrant landscape of South London.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Innovative Accommodation Solutions:

    • Spearhead the development of innovative accommodation interventions tailored for women impacted by the criminal justice system.
    • Collaborate with a dynamic team of housing advocates to conduct comprehensive assessments of client's housing needs, deliver expert advice, and construct personalised support plans.
  2. Stakeholder Collaboration and Advocacy:

    • Establish and nurture robust relationships with key stakeholders, including statutory housing departments, housing associations, and community organisations.
    • Advocate for women's needs and contribute to practical solutions for accommodation challenges through a collaborative, multi-agency approach.
  3. Candidate Criteria:

    • Expert in Specialist Housing Support:

      • Demonstrate a proven track record with significant experience in providing specialised housing advice and support.
      • Showcase proficiency in supporting women with diverse needs, employing trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions.
    • Collaborative Leadership Skills:

      • Highlight past successes in effectively managing relationships with key stakeholders.
      • Illustrate your ability to work collaboratively within a team, fostering a coordinated approach to address the multifaceted needs of our clients.

      • The role is based in the dynamic West London community.
