Join Our clients Team as a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager
We are seeking a dedicated Scheme Manager to join our Sheltered Housing Independent Living Service on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract on a 30 hour per week contract. As a Sheltered Housing Scheme Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting residents to lead healthy and happy lives while ensuring the scheme remains a safe and secure place to live. Your enthusiastic mindset will empower older individuals to maintain their independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents in their daily lives, fostering independence and well-being
- Facilitate social activities for residents to enhance community engagement
- Develop and implement support plans in collaboration with residents and other professionals
- Manage health and safety compliance within the scheme, overseeing building security, conducting weekly fire checks, and inspecting communal areas to uphold residents' security and safety
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience in supporting housing or housing-related support services
- Knowledge of care and support services, including relevant legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with residents, external agencies, and internal teams
- Effective time management in a fast-paced, varied role, with the ability to travel between sites
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
