A leading educational institution in North London is looking for an IT Systems Engineer(Cyber) to join their team and take responsibility for cyber security. As part of the IT Systems Team, you will ensure the configuration and operational readiness of systems, including provision, maintenance and development of the College services and network infrastructure. This is a hybrid role offering up to £35K per annum. This is a great opportunity for an IT professional passionate about cyber security to utilise their skills in a critical and growing field. Core technical aptitude along with strong problem solving and communication abilities are essential.
You will work closely with the IT Systems Manager to safeguard the college's networks and data. Key responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in cyber security concepts and technology, including:
A successful candidate should possess expertise in cyber security and a minimum of four additional proficiencies in the following areas: Cisco networking, server virtualisation (VMware), Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 administration, Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Software Center. Experience of ITIL service delivery, Apple Mac operating systems, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft SharePoint, OneDrive and Teams administration, G Suite administration would be desirable.
