Job description

Morgan Hunt is currently working with a national Children's Charity in search of a new Partnerships Fundraising

This role is offered on hybrid basis with a minimum of one day a week from the London Office.

The brand new role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract paying £29754 p/a.

Key responsibilities of the new Partnerships Fundraiser:

  • Deliver particular aspects of the Volunteer Partnerships strategy and agreed budget.
  • To identify, secure and deliver new partnerships in sport to generate income and brand awareness. This will be closely supported by their line manager (Senior Partnerships Manager).
  • To be responsible for accurate financial management including delivering, reporting, and contingency planning on allocated budget and specific projects, with support of the line manager.
  • To be responsible for the development of relationships and the delivery of income from a portfolio of high value supporters and prospects, specifically the Sports Steering Group and Network, as well as new partners.
  • To deliver a positive supporter journey with bespoke stewardship to engage and inspire a portfolio of high value supporters.
  • Take a lead in recruiting, developing and retaining supporters within the sports industry
  • To carry out research through a range of sources, obtaining relevant information that can contribute to proposals, donor strategies and fundraising communications.

Previous experience and skills of the new Partnerships Fundraiser:

  • Be an excellent fundraiser and relationships manager
  • Be highly organised
  • Have an understanding of the sales process
  • Have exemplary attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated to proactively identify and win new partnerships
  • Have impeccable communications skills
  • Demonstrate experience of successfully generating new opportunities which are commercially viable, relevant and of mutual benefit
